Lithuania's Andrius Kubilius said in a telephone interview to BNS after the meeting with Donald Tusk that the new security initiatives should be discussed in further detail within the next six months.
"We talked a lot about the key joint projects – starting with energy and some new and very important security initiatives of the broad region. The Polish prime minister presented some initiatives that are being discussed on development of security in our region. These are indeed new and interesting ideas, and I hope we will have a chance to discuss the ideas in detail in the next six months," Kubilius said.
The prime minister refused to specify the initiatives.
"I cannot provide further detail, let's wait until a more thorough presentation," Kubilius told BNS, adding that the initiatives were entirely new and never discussed before.
"At least we haven't discussed them in any detail," said the head of Lithuania's government.
