Currently ambassador-at-large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ignatavičius would assume his new ambassadorial position in Belarus on April 15, The Office of the Prime Minister said on Wednesday.
Ignatavičius served as a foreign vice-minister in 2009-2012. Previously, he was secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as Lithuania's ambassador to Germany in 2004-2009 and as consul general to Russia's Kaliningrad in 2001-2002.
Talat-Kelpša, currently ambassador-at-large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Latin America, Africa, Asia and Pacific Department, should start serving as ambassador to India as of April 8.
Talat-Kelpša was an adviser to Lithuania's prime minister in 2011-2012, minister plenipotentiary at the Lithuanian Embassy to Georgia in 2009-2011 and worked as secretary at the Ministry Foreign Affairs in 2006-2009.
Meanwhile Lithuania's incumbent Ambassador to Turkey Kudzmanas should also represent the Baltic country in Pakistan as of April 8.
Kudzmanas was Lithuania's diplomatic representative to Azerbaijan in 2007-2012. He previously held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001-2007.
