The PM said on Monday he would go to Latvia on 10 January and be in Warsaw on 21-22 January. The visits will include meetings with Latvian and Polish prime ministers and presidents.
A visit to Estonia is also about to be finalized. During the trip to Brussels in the end of January, Butkevičius plans to meet with top officials of the European Commission and the European Parliament.
The entire Cabinet of ministers will go to Brussels in the end of next month to meet with officials of the European Union (EU).
"On 10 January, I am going to Latvia to meet with the prime minister and the president. We are also organizing a visit to Estonia, they said last week that the prime minister wanted to meet me," Butkevičius told BNS about planned visits.
"I received information today about a meeting with the Polish prime minister and the Polish president in Poland around 21-22 (January). On 30 January, I'll have a meeting with (the president of the European Parliament) Martin Schulz. We are working to organize a meeting with (the president of the European Commission) Jose Manuel Barroso on the same day," according to Butkevičius.
"In the last week of January, the entire Cabinet is going to Brussels to meet with heads of certain institutions and departments there."
The new Cabinet of ministers will have an additional task of presiding over meetings of the European Council during Lithuania's presidency in the second half of 2013.
