According to the results of the survey for the academic year 2011-2012, 66 percent of eighth-graders and 72 percent of eleventh-graders in Lithuania use computers at least once a week.
Meanwhile, 12 percent of eighth-graders and 10 percent of eleventh-graders use their laptops for education purposes at least once a week, while mobile phones are used by 62 percent of eighth-graders and 66 percent of eleventh-graders.
According to the survey, the practice of bringing one's own laptops to school is most common in Denmark, while the Baltic states stand out by the use of mobile phones for education.
The poll showed that school computers are used often in Lithuania in the EU context.
