The events are scheduled from Wednesday to Saturday, the Vilnius municipality has announced.
The Lithuanian capital will present a diverse cultural program including the country's prominent pianist Petras Geniušas, the Saukos family of artists, Vytautas Labutis' jazz band featuring Neda Malunavičiūtė.
Work of Jonas Mekas, often titled the godfather of avant-garde cinema, will be in focus of the program. The program includes an exhibition of pre-war Vilnius photographs by Boleslovas and Edmundas Zdanovskis.
The Vilnius Days will also include a festival of Lithuanian folk crafts and culinary heritage.
A delegation of the Lithuanian capital's officials is planned to meet with St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and the local Lithuanian community, later attend a business forum with the Lithuanian Industrialist Confederation.
An information technologies seminar is planned as a platform for IT specialists from both cities to exchange experience.
