The topic of a captive mind will be the core of the four programs of the festival – literature, music, art, and film, organizers have said on Tuesday.
The festival will be attended by Thomas Mann's grandchild Frido Mann from Germany, as well as 2011 German Book Prize winner Eugene Ruge.
Organizers said the events of the festival would be held in traditional venues until 21 July, namely, Thomas Mann Memorial Museum, Nida Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neringa History Museum, Mizgiriai House of Artists and Nida Art Colony.
