This year's conference will bring together 40 participants from 10 countries, namely, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, the United States, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, according to the Eastern Europe Studies Center, organizer of the event.

The conference will kick off with an official opening ceremony at the Foreign Ministry, followed by a discussion on European dialogue on Belarusian modernization.

The topic of this year's conference is social entrepreneurship of young people.

Members of the informal community titled United Students of Belarus (USB) gather in Vilnius every September to share their experiences, discuss the work they have done and plan activities for the coming year. EESC said the aim of the meetings is to bring together the Belarusian people studying in foreign countries.

"With every year, we receive an increasing number of applications to the USB meeting. We are happy to see the USB community develop into an independent, organized and pro-active movement, which unites Belarusians living abroad," Kristina Vaičiūnaitė, director of the Eastern Europe Studies Center, said in a press release.
