Working after the lockdown

At the start of the lockdown, Eurovaistinė pharmacies had ceased testing the condition of the face and hair, the biological age of blood vessels, perform body vitamin testing and measuring blood pressure. However, with quarantine conditions being loosened, these services will be offered once again from May 18.

Eurovaistinė board chairwoman Ingrida Damulienė says that these changes were important in seeking to offer clients consultations that had been typical prior to the lockdown “Clients come to the pharmacy in order to receive as much as possible and accurate as possible advice. However, this isn’t always possible without detailed testing, thus it is crucial for us to ensure safety and return these tests,” the Eurovaistinė board chairwoman says.

Pharmacists have observed that in spring, more people complain of various skin problems, vitamin deficiency related exhaustion. Thus the tests performed in pharmacies allow to identify problems and offer effective measures to resolve them more accurately.

Also, from Monday onward, pharmacies will once more begin using blood pressure measuring equipment because this can be useful in early diagnosis of blood pressure diseases. Blood pressure testing is available in all Eurovaistinė pharmacies.

Currently, there are 260 Eurovaistinė pharmacies operating across Lithuania, though some are temporarily closed. The pharmacies continue working under their lockdown working hours. All testing is free of charge, prior registration is not necessary, though you can agree on a suitable time in every specific pharmacy, you can find their contact details here: https://www.apie-eurovaistine.lt/vaistiniu-darbo-laikas-karantino-metu/.
