“The pandemic is changing and will continue to change to face of offices and we feel a huge demand for private spaces, so the Monday Office concept for businesses to be able to rent a cosy, autonomous office is particularly relevant right now. This was showcased by the experience of the first Monday Office, which saw all office spaces rented out through the spring lockdown. We are especially focused on safety, to the extent that we half-jokingly say that the office hotel could also be suitable for business self-isolation,” says Giedrius Muliuolis, head of the commerce unit at SBA Group company Urban Inventors.
According to Muliuolis, the new Monday Office currently has a third of its office space rented out, and the first tenants have already settled in. The office hotel services are actively made up of attorneys, start-ups, consultancies, and local and foreign company representatives who do not yet have an office in Vilnius and who are preparing for expansion. The 460 square metre Monday Office in the Green Hall 3 business centre hosts 16 offices, several small meeting rooms, plus closed and semi-open zones for communication by phone or conference calls.
The company’s second office hotel in Vilnius had its interior designed by architects from the studio Heima Architects - Kristijonas Skirmantas and Gabrielė Monika Žemaitytė.
“While creating the new Monday Office, our goal was to create a soft and cosy atmosphere more akin to a stylish home or a hotel, integrating all the necessary conveniences for a modern office space. Here, all our future tenants, who value the quality and unique identity of their environment, can feel comfortable. Seeing the results today, we can celebrate – the goal was achieved successfully!” an interior’s authors K. Skirmantas says.
The exclusive rhombus-patterned carpet, which has already become a hallmark and symbol of Monday Office, grants cosiness alongside soft felt surfaces in the common areas. The most important role in the interior goes to colours, which were chosen from opposing sides of the spectrum, with deep and rich tones creating a calm and warm atmosphere.
The interior for the first Monday Office was also created by Heima Architects Edimtas Šimeliūnas and Povilas Daugys’, whose work was recognised by an international commission as the best in the 2018 Mano Erdvė competition. During the annual marketing conference Password in 2019, the campaign for introducing Monday Office to the market was recognised as the most effective.
