Sales are out-of-this-world
“A prestigious location, architecture by a National Prize laureate and his studio, and a developer the city is familiar with immediately drew interest to the project, but once actual apartment reservations were launched, their pace and scale exceeded expectations. With out-of-this-world demand and a limited offering of prestigious apartments within just a few weeks, less than a third of apartments were left. In order to satisfy the demand and obtain one’s dream home this year, we significantly brought forward the construction works of the third and fourth apartment buildings,” says SBA Urban real estate development head Egidijus Ripkauskas.
The third building of the Nemunaičiai project is already accepting reservations, while reservations for the fourth are due to launch next week. According to SBA Urban commerce director Giedrius Muliuolis, two-room apartments ranging in size from 41 to 50 square metres are most in-demand for the Nemunaičiai project.
“The residents’ communities of the first two buildings will be fairly young individuals aged 28-33, as well as families, and the greatest advantages the new movers take an interest in are living near the river, and being close to the city centre. For some of them, this project became something of a call to return to Kaunas, and residents here who have lived in Vilnius for a long time and finally decided to build their home in Kaunas are looking to settle in Nemunaičiai. Vilnius residents have also reserved apartments after being fascinated by the project’s spaces, and with plans to build a future in Kaunas,” states Muliuolis.
Work gains pace
“The construction works for all the Nemunaičiai project’s buildings are proceeding in line with the schedule and with the addition of the third and fourth, we plan for each building to rise up with a two month’s gap between one another, and we plan that newcomers will be able to settle in their new homes from the first half of 2022. In the project’s third building, there will be 24 one to four-room apartments, while the fourth will hold 38 one to three-room apartments,” says Ripkauskas.
The third house also has larger apartments planned. New movers will be able to select spacious and functionally planned 4-room apartments with an area of up to 100 square metres, and only six of these are planned across the entire project. According to Ripkauskas, as soon as the reservations began for the third building, the apartments in highest demand immediately emerged. Both smaller apartment of up to two rooms with a view of the river and old town, and larger ones of four rooms are dominating. The fourth building is due to hold 38 apartments, and new buyers will be able to choose apartments with 1-3 rooms. Reservations are due to launch for this building next week, but the fastest will be able to choose from among the most appealing apartments most in line with family or individuals’ needs.
