“For us, the greenfield investment is the sign of the buyer’s great trust in us. We have developed an operational model and technologies for tunnel car washes, which ensure rapid and convenient service for a vast number of clients, and it is easy to be convinced of this when buying a car wash that is already operational and has a constant influx of customers.
However, investing in an object that has yet to be built serves to show that the buyer trusts our team’s experience and knowledge,” CEO Evaldas Kinderis, one of Švaros Broliai’s founders, states.
The tunnel car wash due to be constructed near Gariūnai Business Park is the fifth franchise sold by Švaros Broliai in the capital. Buyers have purchased tunnel car wash franchise rights for four already-operating tunnel car washes in the first half of this year.
The future car wash’s location is particularly well suited for this task because it posts an exceptionally large and constant volume of passing cars.
“Car wash services need to be not only quick and convenient, but also integrated with other brief nearby stops. Thus, we increasingly often plan new car washes in territories where there is a concentration of other recognised brand services: petrol stations, fast food restaurants, and shopping centres,” E. Kinderis notes.
Also earned the trust of investors
At the end of the year, the car cleanliness experts also implemented another new investment model. A modern and fast Švaros Broliai tunnel car wash opened in December at the capital’s Rasos Street, funded unlike any other car was so far, with two funds and a business angel investing a combined 3.6 million euros into it. They include famous investment funds Marius Jakulis Jason Foundation, and IISUTIB KŪB Verslo Angelų Fondas II.
E. Kinderis describes the investors that have been attracted as a crucial and significant step, and this financing model evidently helps ensure high quality and smooth business operations.
“The investors’ interest in cooperating with us is a clear sign that we are headed on the right path of building a sustainable business. We wish to make use of this opportunity to develop our technologies and business model further. The car wash in Rasos Street is the most modern we have built, and we have implemented new services in it which we intend to continue improving,” E. Kinderis says.
Having invested in the first car wash in the city’s southern area which will serve the districts of Senamiestis, Naujamiestis and others nearby, M. Jakulis Jason says that Lithuania must develop businesses aimed at rapid development if we wish to strengthen our positions in Europe and the rest of the world.
“Lithuania has a great amount of talent, but so far we continue to seek to prove our entrepreneurial spirit in the international arena. Businesses grounded in constantly improving technologies, which can be easily adapted around the world and thus have the potential for becoming a franchise, are the best means of growing and expanding.
“I see prospects in what Švaros Broliai is doing and wish to support them on this path,” says the entrepreneur.
