Audio track didn't survive in this old 1940s Universal Newsreel footage showing a 26-acre town facade built onto the roof of the Boeing B17 bomber factory near Seattle, Washington, USA... scheduled yesterday to be demolished...
Hollywood set designer John Stewart Detlie helped to create the fake town in 1941, hiding the factory beneath from potential air strike by the Japanese during World War II.
