As the opening event of Festival of Hope we invited three incredible poets from different parts of the globe Carolyn Forché (Washington D.C.), Yang Lian (Berlin/Beijing) and Sharmistha Mohanty (Mumbai) to talk together with the initiator of Festival of Hope and poet Aleš Šteger (Ljubljana) about what writing means in times of crises, what kind of changes we are facing and what poetic texts marked their personal understanding of hope. A reading, a discussion, a testimony of challenging times.
