Sound performance “Motopoiesis” – a dynamic noise soundscape created on self-made instruments and poets voice. It's also a visual installation created alongside the soundscape. During the performance, the recitals voice is activating various electromechanical machines and further on sounds has various layers of effects. The source of the sound is the rhythm of the poetry and intonation. Most of the sounds comes from system, created by Orbita that included electroenginges, water pumps, ventilators, solenoids, electric magnets, springs and many more elements. Part of the sound is created on the spot during the performance in relations to the venues sound potential. The video is closely related to the reading and sound created. On the work space there are several video cameras, that gives an opportunity to see the visual projection on the screen projecting exact sound. On the frontline of the camera there is also a print of the text, thus naturally including translated poetry text in the video becoming both visual and informative material (subtitles).
