„It's an important deal, it is useful, in particular due to prevention of tax evasion. I could add that the talks with Cyprus took much longer compared with all other European Union’s Member States, several years, but the agreement has been finally achieved,“ Finance Minister Rimantas Sadzius told his Cabinet colleagues on Wednesday.

Lithuania and Cyprus will sign an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation of income and the prevention of tax evasion. With the UAE, Lithuania will sign an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation of income and fiscal violations.
