Late in 2012, Skinija beat three other bidders in the tender issued by the Norwegian army and won a two-year contract to knit socks for soldiers. The first batch of socks will be dispatched in mid-summer.

Functional socks will be supplied to Norway until the end of the year when the precise order for 2014 will be known.

Details about the order have not been disclosed.

Five years ago, Skinija produced socks for Canada’s army.
