New Burberry shop to open in Vilnius

The third Burberry store in the Baltics is to open for business in Vilnius next spring, the business daily Verslo Žinios reports.

The clothing retailer Apranga is also planning to overhaul the Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Mados Linija stores.

"We've made considerable investments in the luxury segment in Latvia and Estonia in recent years, and now, in Lithuania," the paper quoted Apranga CEO Rimantas Perveneckas as saying.

Investments in these project will amount to some 9 million to 10 million litas (EUR 2.6-2.9m).
