“We had problems in Russia – our violation is minor, insignificant. It was just a violation of transit procedure,” Sigvaldas Atamanavičius, the director of Jutiskis, told the daily. He refused to disclose any details saying that discussions with the Russians were ongoing.
Algimantas Kondrusevičius, president of Linava, told the daily that he had seen the list compiled by the Russian customs but had not yet received any official document.
“The Russians like various unpleasant surprises. Of course, there is no smoke without fire. Most probably, they have found some formal violations and are now trying to split hairs,” he said adding that he was mostly concerned that all Lithuanian haulers might eventually suffer due to several violations.
