The chain intends to invest up to 0.5 million euros in its accommodation establishment in the Lithuanian capital.
“We are only interested in Vilnius. Here we will open a 30-40-bed hostel. There are several hostels in Lithuania but competition is not as strong as in St. Petersburg,” Jevgeny Chitkov, the chain’s co-owner, told the daily.
He noted that Lithuanian hostel owners had ruined the image of hostel accommodation by over-economizing on fit-out and making no effort to learn foreign languages in order to understand guests from abroad.
