Candidates have 14 days, until February 13, to submit their applications, according to the advertisement for the job opening, which was signed by Energy Minister Jaroslav Neverovič and placed in the press on Wednesday.
The new CEO will replace Žilvinas Jurkšus, who was dismissed from his office under Neverovič's order, effective from February 5. Vigantas Galkauskas, the director of the plant's Decommissioning Department, will serve as acting CEO until a new CEO is appointed through competition.
Jurkšus, an information technologies specialist, took over as the plant's CEO from Osvaldas Ciuksys in late April 2011. He had worked as an expert for INPP since the end of 2010.
