The bank was fined for competition-restricting agreements with the security firm G4S Lietuva.
"SEB Bankas will appeal the decision of Vilnius Regional Administrative Court," the bank said in a statement published on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius website on Wednesday.
Swedbank, DNB Bankas, and G4S Lietuva are also considering appealing the court's decision.
The court on Tuesday partially upheld the appeals filed by the companies over the fines slapped on them for competition-restricting agreements, cutting the fines on the banks by 60 percent and that on G4S Lietuva, by 10 percent. They should pay a total of 27.6 million litas in fines, down from the original sum of 57.1 million litas.
The fine imposed on Swedbank was reduced to 5.697 million litas, from 14.244 million litas, on DNB, to 3.452 million litas, from 8.63 million litas, and on G4S Lietuva, to 8.494 million litas, from 9.438 million litas.
The competition authority last December slapped the fines on the country's three largest banks and the security firm for restricting competition in the markets of cash-in-transit and cash handling services.
