V. Vasiliauskas and V. Šapoka sceptical of the idea of a state bank

Minister of Finance Vilius Šapoka states in regard to President Gitanas Nausėda’s idea on a state bank that such a project would be especially costly and Lithuania already has painful past lessons of what a state bank means. Bank of Lithuania board chairman Vitas Vasiliauskas proposes to first calculate whether it is worth it and what such a bank would allow.
