Starting on June 5, Wizz Air will operate two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from Vilnius to Alesund. The company, which will use an Airbus A320 on this route, hopes to carry 30,000 passengers between the two cities per year.

“By opening a new route to Alesund we offer more possibilities for both businessmen and tourists to come to Vilnius,” Daniel de Carvalho, corporate communications manager at Wizz Air, said in a press release.

The company currently offers flights to three Norwegian cities: Bergen, Stavanger, and Oslo. It will also open flights to Trondheim within a month.

Wizz Air’s summer schedule of flights from Vilnius airport will offer 14 destinations, including 5 destinations in Norway.
