Cold weather, rain, thunder ahead of Lithuania

Cooler temperatures will continue in Lithuania over the next few days, with rain and thunder expected in many districts, weather services said.

Wednesday will be rainy across the country, thunder is forecast for northwestern districts, gusts of wind will accelerate to 15-18 m/s in western Lithuania. The lowest nighttime temperature will be around +10-+15 degrees Celsius, while the highest daytime temperature will climb to +17-+22 degrees.

Thursday will also be rainy with thunder amid +9-+14 degrees at night and +18-+23 degrees during the day.

Somewhat warmer temperatures are forecast for the weekend.
