According to a press release, a total of 65 traffic accidents involving human casualties or injuries were reported on between 20-26 April.
Among those killed are three drivers and two pedestrians. They were all male with average age of 21 years.
Another 77 people, including 18 minors, were injured.
According to preliminary data, drunk drivers were involved in two car accidents that left three people injured.
Between 1 January and 27 April, a total of 75 people were killed on Lithuanian roads, including three minors. This indicates a rise by four deaths year-on-year.
