The prosecutor had asked the court to issue a prison term for Lescinin who was charged for taking part in the deportation of Lithuanian people while working for the Soviet repressive structure – the State Security Ministry in Lithuania.
Three male and one female victims, who were small children or teenagers at the time, were deported to the Tomsk Region in Siberia in October 1951.
The sentence can be appeal within 20 days.
