Head of Belarusian club Siabryna brutally murdered in Vilnius

Roman Voinicki, head of Belarusian club Siabryna, was found brutally murdered in the basement of his block of flats on Kapsų Street, Vilnius, on Wednesday morning.

Paulius Radvilavičius, a spokesman of Vilnius County Chief Police Commissariat, told BNS that a woman's call was received at 9:29 AM and she said she had found her dead husband, 53.

A pre-trial murder investigation has been launched, with no arrests so far.

The police refuse to comment on the incident.

Voinicki worked at Vilnius Pranciškus Skorina Secondary School and was a member of the Council of National Communities.
