It is proposed to extend the existing ban on smoking by individuals aged under 18 years and prohibit them from carrying or keeping tobacco goods.
The amendments also call for restricting access to tobacco goods in shops by banning the self-service sale of such products.
The proposed measures also include a ban on the sale of tobacco substitutes in the country and the requirement that warning labels be printed on the lower part of the most visible surface of cigarette packages and cover at least 80 percent of the surface.
