Swiss, Turkish, Finnish, Estonian leaders, EU energy commissioner to visit Vilnius by July

Before Lithuania takes presidency over the European Council in July, the country will host working visits by Turkish, Finnish and Estonian leaders, as well as Denmark's foreign minister.

Visits by the Swiss president, European Parliament President Martin Schulz, and European Union Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger are also planned, Kauno Diena daily said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite will make working visits to Norway, Germany and Slovakia by July.

This will be Grybauskaite's first trip to Slovakia during her term in office.

Lithuania will hold EU presidency on July 1 through Dec. 31 this year. It will be preceded in the position by Ireland and succeeded by Greece.
