In his interview for the TV3’s „Savaitės komentarai“, weatherman Naglis Šulija advises that the best time to go on holiday in Lithuania is between the end of July and the beginning of August. According to him, this year we will have “a typical Lithuanian summer”, delfi.lt reports.

In the coming days weather should improve in Lithuania; it is going to be dry and sunny. June should be slightly colder with more rain than usual. The forecast for the other two summer months is that the temperature will be one degree higher than average. Rainfall will stay within its normal level or slightly below. In general, the weather will be relatively warm with not too much rain.

„Temperatures last summer and the one before were more than one degree above average. I think that we will have a usual Lithuanian summer this year, with temperatures between 24 and 25 degrees, rarely rising to 27 or 28 degrees,“ says Šulija.

He advises to go on holiday in Lithuania either at the end of July or in the beginning of August, since it is the time with less rain and warmer water in rivers and lakes.
