Weekend brings frosty weather back to Lithuania

The upcoming weekend is set to bring back big freeze to Lithuania.

The sky should be clear on the night to Friday across the country, with temperatures set to drop below minus 20 degrees Centigrade. Clouds and higher temperatures are forecast for areas along the seashore.

Fair weather is forecast in Vilnius and Kaunas with temperatures of minus 13 degrees. Minus 9-11C await Klaipėda and Panevėžys.

Cloudy weather with clear periods is forecast for the night to Saturday. Temperatures should stand at minus 13-22 degrees.

It should be cloudy with clear periods on Saturday too. Temperatures of minus 13 in the capital city to minus 6 degrees on the seashore are expected.
