All reports are being processed thoroughly, some of them were already closed, the Police Department said on Friday.

Three pre-trial investigations were opened into attempts to buy votes – two probes are carried out in Šilutė and one in Alytus.

Voter turnout in early voting in the 2012 elections is about two times higher than it was in 2008.

More than 26,000 voters, or 1.03 percent of the electorate, cast votes on Wednesday, the first day of voting this year.
