"As far as I know, there are plans to turn to law enforcement institutions, and when they carry out an investigation, then we'll be able to comment further," the party's chairman, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, told journalists on Thursday.

The party's executive secretary Raimundas Alekna told BNS that lawyers had been asked to prepare "document for turning to law enforcement institutions over alleged criminal actions against the Homeland Union."

Asked by BNS whether the party planned to turn to law enforcement because of the tapping equipment, he said "in some sense yes," but refused to elaborate.
