The present was given at a dinner on the occasion of Orban's official visit on Monday evening in Vilnius.
"This present is a small part of a great cultural heritage of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, scattered over Lithuanian towns and cities. Like an old mirror at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, it reflects our state's long-term links to the Christian Europe and our cultural identity," the prime minister said.
The statuette is an exact copy of the statuette, dated from the 18th century which emerged at Kamajai Church under mysterious circumstances still unknown to heritage specialists, Laimonas Talat-Kelpša, the prime minister's adviser, told BNS.
