Just like in 2010, Finance Minister Ingrida Šimonytė was the most modest in the Cabinet – her property and savings were under 100,000 litas.
According to the 2011 declarations published by official bulletin Valstybės Žinios, Kazlauskas, a member of Liberal and Center Union, indicating having more than 2.3 million litas worth of property and 261,750 litas in savings. He also owes more than 600,000 litas. His wife Renata Kazlauskienė had 2.6 million litas in property and 181,000 litas in savings.
Conservative Energy Minister Arvydas Sekmokas' 2011 declaration lists 1.6 million litas worth of assets and 586,900 litas in cash. His wealth had not changed since 2010.
Other people on the millionaire list include Agriculture Minister Kazys Starkevičius of the conservatives. He and his wife Rasa declared 1.77 million litas in property and cash assets. In 2010-2011, the minister's family increased its wealth from 1.24 to 1.41 million litas and savings from 245,800 to 355,850 litas. The family's debts stood at 108,000 litas.
Among the wealthiest government members are Justice Minister Remigijus Šimašius and his wife Agnė Matulaitė. Their property and cash in 2011 totaled 1.33 million litas, up from 942,000 litas the year before. Nevertheless, the minister's debts grew considerably from 254,500 in 2010 to 1.033 million litas in late 2011.
Economy Minister Rimantas Žylius is the last Cabinet member on the millionaire list. According to the declaration, he and his wife Kristina Vaivadaitė had 1.56 million litas worth of property and savings. They had a debt of 459,500 litas each.
The declared wealth of Transport and Communications Minister Eligijus Masiulis' family swelled over a year from 652,500 litas in 2010 to 840,500 litas last year. Furthermore, the minister runs a debt of nearly 500,000 litas. In the end of 2011, Masiulis declared only 216 litas in savings.
Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, the leader of Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats (conservatives), and his wife Rasa declared 632,000 litas in property and over 20,000 litas in savings. The minister managed to boost his savings by about 6,000 litas.
The declaration of Culture Minister Arūnas Gelūnas and his wife Vilma specifies 565,800 litas in property, over 14,000 litas in savings and a debt of 371,700 litas.
According to the declarations, the property and savings of Interior Minister Artūras Melianas' family amounted to 534,300 litas. The minister's wife Lina has a loan of 370,000 litas.
The situation is similar with Health Minister Raimondas Šukys who has declared just over 500,000 litas in property and cash. The minister also has a loan of 136,900 litas.
The property of Education and Science Minister Gintaras Steponavičius' family stood at 433,000 litas in the end of 2011. The minister has taken a loan of 105,000 litas.
Defense Minister Rasa Juknevičienė of the conservatives and her husband Zenonas own 483,700 litas in assets.
The family of Social Security and Labor Minister Donatas Jankauskas, also a conservative, declared 351,800 litas in property and cash.
The property and savings declared by Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis, a conservative, and his wife Loreta stood at 234,700 litas in the end of last year.
Meanwhile, there are ten millionaires among vice-ministers and ministerial chancellors, including three working at the Transport and Communications Ministry.
