"We'll meet and see about the development of the programme, budget revision, we'll finish the distribution of responsibilities and, if there are no major problems, intend to sign the coalition agreement on Tuesday," the Order and Justice party's vice-chairman Valentinas Mazuronis told BNS.
Although the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania has also been invited to join the ruling bloc, the coalition treaty will probably be signed without them.
"I don't think we should wait. If there is any need, the coalition will be expanded to the format 'three plus one'," Mazuronis said.
Leonardas Talmontas of the Polish party told BNS that the party would hold a council meeting on Monday evening to discuss the invitation to the coalition.
After the recent parliamentary elections, the coalition is being formed by the Social Democrats, the Labour Party, and the Order and Justice party, which will have 78 mandates in Lithuania's 141-seat parliament. With the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, the bloc would swell to 86, giving them the so-called constitutional majority.
