Lithuania to hold presidential election on May 11

May 11, 2014, is proposed as the date to callLithuanian presidential election, while elections to the European Parliament should be held on May 25, according to a draft resolution registered by Parliamentary Speaker Vydas Gedvilas.

Should the presidential election require a run-off voting, it would be held in conjunction with the EP polls.

The election dates will be set after parliamentary approval.
