Lithuanian parliament approves Artūras Paulauskas and Leonard Talmont as committee chairmen

Lithuania's Seimas approved chairmen of several parliamentary committees on Tuesday.

Artūras Paulauskas, a member of the Labour Party, has been approved as chairman of the Seimas Committee on National Security and Defense. Meanwhile Leonard Talmont of the Electoral Action of Poles has been approved as chairman of the Committee on Human Rights.

Lawmakers voted 65 to 3 in favor of the decision, with 17 abstentions.
