According to the poll carried out by Spinter Tyrimai (Spinter Surveys) in April, Butkevičius, a Social Democrat, continues to be seen as the best person to be prime minister. Some 34.1 percent of respondents named him as the best-suited prime minister in April, as compared with 38.2 percent in March.
The second candidate on the list is the ruling Labor Party's leader Viktor Uspaskich (7.9 percent), followed by opposition leader Andrius Kubilius of the Conservatives (5 percent).
The government's work drew positive reactions from 41.2 percent of the respondents, while 39.2 percent were negative. The figures in March were 46.6 percent and 35.5 percent, respectively.
The Spinter survey was carried out for Delfi.lt on April 16-26.
