Social Democrats criticise Lithuanian foreign policy: no thought given to consequences

The opposition Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) has voiced criticism regarding Lithuania’s foreign policy – supposedly, there are many ambitions but few results to show for it. Former party chairman Gintautas Paluckas urges to model the consequences of decisions more responsibly and describes as mistakes the decisions to open the Belarusian opposition and Taiwanese representations in Vilnius. The Social Democrats also expressed concern over the president and foreign minister’s disagreements on the functioning of diplomacy.
