15 players revealed as candidates for Lithuania's national basketball team

Head coach of the Lithuanian national basketball team Jonas Kazlauskas has announced a list of 15 candidates for the national team that will compete in the European Basketball Championship, also known as EuroBasket 2013, in Slovenia in September.

Among the candidates are seven players playing for Lithuanian clubs and eight players of foreign teams. The list is as follows: Mantas Kalnietis (Lokomotiv-Kuban, Russia), Tomas Delininkaitis (Cherkaski Mavpy, Ukraine), Adas Juškevičius (Žalgiris, Kaunas), Renaldas Seibutis (Lietuvos Rytas, Vilnius); Martynas Gecevičius (Olympiakos, Greece), Martynas Pocius (Real, Spain), Jonas Mačiulis (Panathinaikos, Greece), Mindaugas Kuzminskas (Žalgiris, Kaunas), Linas Kleiza (Toronto Raptors, Canada), Paulius Jankūnas (Žalgiris, Kaunas), Kšištof Lavrinovič (Žalgiris, Kaunas), Darjuš Lavrinovič (Žalgiris, Kaunas), Donatas Motiejūnas (Huston Rockets, US), Jonas Valančiūnas (Toronto Raptors, Canada), and Robertas Javtokas (Žalgiris, Kaunas).

Coached by Jonas Kazlauskas, Gintaras Krapikas, and Darius Maskoliūnas, the national team will kick off the 24-team championship in Group B tournament in Jesenice.

Lithuania's first match with the Serbian team is scheduled for September 4.
