24 female and 39 male athletes will compete in 14 sports. The delegation will also include 89 members, among them coaches, medical staff, masseurs and official representatives. Track-and-field athletes will make the majority of the Lithuanian delegation, including 20 athletes and 17 coaches, masseurs and medical staff.
The LNOC bosses hope Lithuanian athletes will win six to seven medals.
Two-time Olympic champion, discus thrower Virgilijus Alekna will be Lithuania's flag bearer at the London Olympics opening ceremony.
