Lithuania's national football team drops to all-time low in FIFA ranking

Lithuania's national football team dropped from the 110th to the 119th place on the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) world rating, an all-time low for the Lithuanian team.

The earlier lowest standing was 118th in September 2004.

In the classification, the Lithuanian team is below four out of five contestants in the 2014 World Cup in the European zone, namely, Greece (12th), Bosnia and Herzegovina (31st), Slovakia (43rd), and the neighboring Latvia (108th).

Lithuania is ahead of the Lichtenstein team, which it finally defeated last week. Lichtenstein now ranks 157th.
