"During the conversation, the ministers talked about Moldova's successful participation in the Eastern Partnership program, the progress of negotiations on an Association Agreement and visa-free regime with the European Union as well as preparations for the third Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in 2013," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Leanca also congratulated Linkevičius on his recent appointment.

"Linkevičius invited Moldova's vice-premier to come to Lithuania and to co-chair the fourth meeting of the Moldovan-Lithuanian bilateral commission for European integration during the bilateral visit," the statement said.
