The visit is organized by the 2011 Vienna document of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and bilateral agreements, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

In Belarus, the inspectors will visit the 61st fighter-jet aviation base in Baranovichi and the 7000th aviation base in Tskalovsk, Kaliningrad.

The Vienna Document 1999 binds OSCE states to annually provide information about their armed forces, plans of developing defense capabilities and defense budget, and notify in advance about planned military activities. Parties to the agreement also commit to accept a set number of inspections from other countries in their territory per year.
