In Vilnius, the exam took place at Vilnius Municipality where 200 people, mostly young people, wished to check their knowledge of the country's organic law, exam coordinator Valentinas Sapalas said.

The exam lasted 45 minutes and participants were asked to answer 30 questions. All participants were split into two groups: people without legal education and professional lawyers.

People who got at least 25 answers right will be invited to the second round in a fortnight. Their exam papers will be marked by a central panel of experts, and participants made fewest or no mistakes will be declared winners. The award ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace on 25 October.
