The MP sent a letter to Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, suggesting that funds be set aside in the 2013 budget for the start of the gymnasium. According to Auštrevicius, businesses could contribute to the start of the bilingual gymnasium in the United Kingdom. The government is urged to start negotiations with relevant UK institutions, which could assist in the work.

"It is great to see privately-owned Lithuanian (Sunday) schools becoming stronger in London, they do a huge and important job. However, if we want to gather a larger circle of young people who would keep the vital connection to Lithuania, we should go further. A new school could become a Lithuanian island in Great Britain," Auštrevicius said in a press release.
