180 KPMG Baltics staff will settle in one of the 15 thousand square meters class A office complex buildings on the top, seventh floor, which features a view of the city.
Matching views of sustainability
Company director Rokas Kasperavičius states that the decision to move to a new office was made due to the team’s growth. The company will move into the new office in September, becoming the second largest tenant in the building.
“Our team is continually growing alongside our work volumes. Upon realising that our current office will soon no longer be enough, we began to seek a new, more spacious “home”. The Park Town business centre offered a convenient location, transportation, modern furnished premises with a unique environment, smart technical and engineering solutions. The business centre’s views of conservation and sustainability are also important to us because we seek to be socially responsible not just through specific actions, but also our daily impact on the environment, reducing the CO2 footprint of our activities,” R. Kasperavičius says.
The façade of the Park Town buildings has in-built energy-generating solar modules, a humidification system for the premises has been installed, individual workspace lighting and every premise’s microclimate control solutions have been ensured. The business centre’s first building has already been awarded with the sustainable use and high standard BREEAM New Construction Excellent certificate.
“Contemporary businesses seek to settle not only in buildings notable for their quality, but also raise demands of innovation, modernity and increased environmentally friendly solutions because namely such offices not only make for comfortable workplaces, but also reflect the values espoused by the company, become the company’s business card as soon as one steps in the door,” L. Savickas, the property management director at one of Lithuania’s largest companies creating living, business and leisure spaces Darnu Group, states.
According to him, when planning the building, much attention was focused on its future tenants – they were ensured wide office planning opportunities. R. Kasperavičius explains that the new office’s interior is still being created; however it will without a doubt also be notable for its harmony and comfortability.
“We believe that minimalist, non-overloaded spaces are what contemporary business needs. For the work environment to not hinder concentration, but at the same time for it to allow one to feel comfortable and cosy. We will settle in the Park Town business centre’s top floor; thus we hope to have a sense of space and feel inspired,” the company head noted.
40 million euro investment
Darnu Group has invested a total of 40 million euro into the two-building Park Town business complex.
The East Hill building is host to a conference hall of the highest standard, the new concept lunch restaurant Lunch’UP and the dessert boutique and restaurant SUGAMOUR, a RE.FORMATAS network sports club. Soon it is also due to host a beauty parlour, dry cleaners and other businesses that match the staff’s daily needs.
The largest space in the East Hill building is occupied by the international company Yara International. The world-leading mineral fertiliser producer and environmental solution provider settled its European business service centre in 4,400 square meter premises. The companies TIA Technology, MarkMonitor have also settled here; Arctic Adventure, Glera Game, Saldi Kava, Mars Lietuva, the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the lawyers’ trade union Wint Law Firm transferred their offices here.
The first 7.2 thousand square meter, seven floor Park Town building hosts the IT service company Alna, the workspace rental company Regus, the companies Trans Eu Baltic, Fortevento, Tieto Lietuva, Inventi and others.
