Luca Toni subbed-off vs Juventus - last match of his career https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq3MdZ8T-w4
Luca Toni may be turning 39 at the end of this month, but the former World Cup champion is still doing his part to uphold the old adage that "class is permanent."
In a stellar, 22-year career that has included stops at Fiorentina, Bayern Munich and Juventus -- among others -- the 38-year-old has traversed many a football pitch. For the past three seasons, however, the Italy great has plied his trade with Hellas Verona and announced his retirement four days ago, after it was confirmed that Serie A's bottom dwellers were relegated to the second tier.
And on Sunday, playing in his last-ever game, Toni led his side to a 2-1 victory over the Old Lady and made it a point to bow out in style.
