Hyperloop One, formerly known as Hyperloop Technologies, tested for the first time its novel transportation system prototype in Nevada, on 11 May 2016. The motorized sled will eventually reach 563 km/h, once the test track is completed, and will someday propel a pod through an actual hyperloop tube.
